There’s nothing quite like a real French baguette: a thin, crackling crust, a light and airy crumb, and that irresistible smell of fresh bread straight out of the oven.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to make authentic French baguettes from scratch, using simple ingredients and professional techniques you can easily reproduce at home. This class is designed for home bakers and beginners who want to understand bread.

Together, we’ll cover:

  • How to mix and develop baguette dough properly

  • Fermentation and timing (and why they matter more than kneading)

  • Shaping classic baguettes with confidence

  • Scoring for beautiful oven spring

  • Baking techniques to achieve a crisp crust and open crumb

You’ll work with the dough yourself at every step, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of how flour, water, yeast, and time work together. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with freshly baked baguettes, practical know-how, and the confidence to bake great bread at home.
