I created this online pastry course to help you gain new baking skills while having fun in the comfort of your home!
The setting is an intimate class with just a few students.
It’s accessible to all levels and requires a minimum amount of equipment .
You can ask all the questions you want throughout the class.
A few days before the class, I will provide you with the full recipe and a list of the tools you need to make the pastry.
After the class, I will provide you a link where you can download the Zoom recording and rewatch the video recipe.

I was absolutely flabbergasted at how simple this favourite pastry of mine is to make.
I take many virtual cooking classes, and have often found the whole thing to be discouraging. Recipes that are too complicated for a home cook like myself are so frustrating. Such elaborate steps, equipment that is inaccessible in my kitchen, or asking for ingredients that are impossible to source also make the experience disappointing.
All of the folks in my virtual class that baked along had AMAZING results.
Said, (AKA #pastrynerd), DID make it so easy.
The written instructions & video demonstration of some very ‘cheffy’ techniques was top notch and very easy to understand.
And, with the video access sent along the next day, I have a whole month to perfect my own way of making Financiers.
I also really appreciated very much the adaptation of equipment to an ordinary persons kitchen.
I know I will be serving these beautiful pastries often.
From start to finish, Said made this a truly wonderful experience! He is so organized, sending information out well in advance so you can be sure you have the ingredients and supplies needed to have a seamless experience. As a teacher, Said is patient, methodical, clear in his explanations, and funny. He makes it easy to follow along by navigating his own baking on the demo camera while checking in on the class and helping people with their individual questions over Zoom; in this way you get both visual and verbal guidance and support. If you are interested in learning how to bake and see something in his offerings that piques your interest, I highly recommend you sign up. You will have fun and end up with a delicious dessert to enjoy and share, too. Highly, highly recommend!
I had an amazing time learning how to make financiers. His ingenious method of incorporating the egg whites made it so easy. The class was enjoyable and inspirational.
If you only read the recipe it might work out, but with Said’s experience, tips and observations you will really learn how to do it well.
All of the vanilla mascarpone whipped cream puffs with salted caramel middles were lovely and devoured.
We wl take another class after we lose the weight.

This class was amazing! I had so much fun learning this recipe. Said is a patient and calm teacher who helps everyone feel both welcome and supported throughout the class. This was my first virtual baking class and I left with a beautiful and tasty cake and the skills to make it again confidently. Highly recommend his classes.
I had a wonderful time learning how to make Saudi’s Frasier cake. It was at a good pace and I learned so much. He is a patient instructor, but very entertaining! It was thoroughly enjoyable. I will definitely sign up again!
I had the delightful experience of participating in Said’s Fraisier course this weekend; I was so excited to be able to expand my skills in the world of gluten-free baking. Said provided all of the information I needed ahead of time to prepare, was available for any questions in advance, and throughout our time together provided lots of individual attention to this of us that needed it 😉 I had a great time, was very pleased with my results (yum!) and am so thankful for the opportunity to learn from “The Pastry Nerd” 🙂 So many new skills for me to experiment with now! I can’t wait for the next GF class!
